Nepali Film 'Lalibazaar' Celebrates 51 Days of Success at Box Office

Kathmandu. Nepali film 'Lalibazaar' has shared its success by doing business of more than 9 crore 31 lakh rupees at the box office and successfully celebrating its 51st day in some halls.

On Monday evening, the film unit celebrated by cutting a cake among artists at a special event organized in the capital.

Senior artists Madan Krishna Shrestha, Haribansha Acharya, Chairman of the Film Development Board Dinesh DC, senior actresses Chaityadevi Singh, Basundhara Bhusal, and Bhuvan Chand, along with many film personalities, were present at the celebration event. Certificates of appreciation were also distributed to the production unit that contributed to making the film successful.

This film, which faced controversy from the Wadi community and legal challenges at the time of its release, stars actress Swastima Khadka in the lead role. Although initially scheduled to be released on Baisakh 18, it was released on Baisakh 25 due to various technical and practical reasons. At the celebration event of this film, Swastima made the atmosphere more enjoyable by dancing energetically on stage.

This film, directed by Yam Thapa, is produced by Max Deepesh Khatri and features actors like Rabindra Singh Baniya and Pradip Bhattarai.
