New Song Released from Film 'Chameli Ko Poi'

Kathmandu. The title song- 'Oi Oi Chameli, Timra Shera Khoi..' of the new film 'Chameli Ko Poi' directed by Everest Surya Bohora has been released. The song, released at a program in the capital on Monday, features vocals by Rajanraj Shiwakoti and Indira Joshi, lyrics by director Bohora, and music by Rajanraj. The song, choreographed by Kabiraj Gahatraj, features Narayan Tripathi, Suraksha Panta, and Wilson Bikram Rai.

Singer and musician Rajanraj expressed confidence that the song, in a folk-modern style, will win the hearts of the audience and listeners. Rajanraj, who heated up the atmosphere by singing at the program, said that he had taken a 'break' for some time to create new music but is now actively involved in music again.

Actress Suraksha Panta said that she has high hopes from 'Chameli Ko Poi' and mentioned that the film has turned out to be excellent. Recalling her previous work with director Bohora on 'Bhairé', she said that she got to do very little in the genre of 'Chameli Ko Poi'. 'I have very few comedy and real-based films like this,' she said, 'Since I am in the title role, I am very excited.'

Actor Mukun Bhusal said that although he was offered by some directors, this is his first film acting with Suraksha. 'I had a great desire to work with Suraksha ji, but it wasn't happening despite offers from some directors, but it happened with this film. I have high hopes.' Director Bohora, who has written many hit songs before, expressed confidence that 'Oi Oi Chameli' will be liked by the general audience just like the famous song 'Ma Ta Chhu Ki Kyo Thuli' from his 'Thuli' film.

The film marks the comeback of popular comedian actor Narayan Tripathi (Premcharo) after about a decade and a half. Actors in the film include Tripathi, Mukun Bhusal, Suraksha Panta, Wilson Bikram Rai, Umesh Rai, Rabindra Jha, Ganesh Gautam, Premdev Giri, Anshu Maharjan, Babin Rai, Khadga Bahadur Pun, Rajani Gurung, Mina RL Shahi, Ritu Mall Thakuri, Tara Sharma, Sunita Sapkota, Bishal Pandey, Shreya Narayan, Dhanalaxmi Bohora, Anushka Narayan, among others.

The film, produced by Dhanalaxmi Cine Makers, was shot by Sher Bahadur Tamang, and the producers are Sunita Sapkota and Ram Narayan Upadhyay. Uday Vikram Rana, Ritu Mall Kunwar, Sumitra Thapa, and Kapil Acharya are the executive producers, while Narayan Tripathi, Yamprasad Oli, Sudip Kunwar, and Pradip Kumar Sapkota are the co-producers.

Dhanalaxmi Shrestha Bohora is the line producer, and Kumar Maharjan is the action director. The film, edited by Bande Prasad, is distributed by RR Films.
