11 Rescued From Seti River in Dipayal Silgadi Municipality

Doti. A total of 11 people who were stranded in the middle of the Seti River in Dipayal Silgadi Municipality-2 of Doti have been safely rescued. They were safely rescued by a team of Armed Police on Saturday.

Local residents who had gone to worship at the Shiva temple located in the Seti River were stranded in the middle of the river when the temporary dam built for embankment construction broke. The Armed Police have stated that those rescued include 86-year-old Mohan Pathak, 76-year-old Prem Bahadur Kathayat, 70-year-old Shivraj Kathayat, 69-year-old Baluram Kathayat, 74-year-old Hemraj Joshi, 65-year-old Batu Kathayat, 80-year-old Padmaraj Bhatta, 60-year-old Sanja Shrestha, 38-year-old Deepakraj Pathak, 9-year-old Krishna Kathayat, and 6-year-old Brandon Kathayat, all residing in the same municipality-2.
