Bajura Municipalities and Rural Municipalities Present Budgets for Fiscal Year 2083/84

Bajura. Deputy mayors of four municipalities and deputy chairpersons of five rural municipalities here presented the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 on Wednesday.

The bodies presented the budget, emphasizing education, agriculture, health, and infrastructure, in the municipal and rural assembly in the district headquarters Martadi. Badimalika Municipality Deputy Mayor Nandakumari Thapa presented a budget of Rs 51 crore 69 lakh 19 thousand for the fiscal year 2083/84.

Budhiganga Municipality Deputy Mayor Maya Khadka (Kunwar) presented a budget of Rs 56 crore 57 lakh 14 thousand for the fiscal year 2083/84 in the assembly.

Triveni Municipality presented a budget of Rs 54 crore 95 lakh 72 thousand in the assembly. In the assembly, Deputy Mayor Kamalakumari Jaishi (Neupane) announced a budget of Rs 35 crore 18 lakh 44 thousand for current expenditure and Rs 19 crore 77 lakh 28 thousand for capital expenditure.

Similarly, Budhinanda Municipality also presented a budget of Rs 57 crore six lakh 96 thousand in the assembly. Deputy Mayor Rambahadur Bohara allocated Rs 37 crore 94 lakh 48 thousand for current expenditure and Rs 19 crore, eight lakh 48 thousand for capital expenditure.

Himali Rural Municipality Chairperson Rajkala Sarki presented a budget of Rs 43 crore 68 lakh 39 thousand for the fiscal year 2083/84. She presented Rs 18 crore one thousand for capital expenditure and Rs 25 crore 68 lakh 21 thousand for current expenditure.

Meanwhile, Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality Chairperson Sulochana Kumari Bhandari (Budha) presented a budget of Rs 44 crore 16 lakh two thousand in the rural assembly.

Jagannath Rural Municipality presented a budget of Rs 38 crore 63 lakh. The rural municipality allocated Rs 23 crore 68 lakh 10 thousand 500 for current expenditure and Rs 14 crore 94 lakh 90 thousand 500 for capital expenditure.

Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality Deputy Chairperson Bisudevinath presented a budget of Rs 53 crore 15 lakh 69 thousand in the assembly for the fiscal year 2083/84.

Similarly, Gaumul Rural Municipality Deputy Chairperson Sita Thapa presented a budget of Rs 40 crore 31 lakh 29 thousand in the rural assembly for the fiscal year 2083/84. Thapa presented a budget of Rs 28 crore 60 lakh 27 thousand for current expenditure and Rs 11 crore 71 lakh two thousand for capital expenditure in the rural assembly.

All the budgets presented in the assembly have emphasized education, health, agriculture, infrastructure development, tourism, etc.
