Students Protest Unnatural and Flawed Class 12 Results

Kathmandu. Victims of the Class 12 results published by the National Examination Board, which they claim are unnatural and flawed, have protested at Maitighar. They demonstrated at Maitighar on Thursday as a form of pressure.

Students dissatisfied with the results have alleged that they did not receive marks commensurate with their hard work and that there was negligence in the answer sheet evaluation.

They have also stated that the fee for re-totaling and re-checking is extremely expensive and impractical. In the Class 12 examination conducted from Jestha 14 to 27, 104,711 students were 'non-graded', meaning they failed.

According to the board, the examinations of 38 examinees have been cancelled, and two have been penalized by being barred from participating in any board examinations for one year.
