Nepali Congress Reschedules Membership Management and Update Process

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has published a new work schedule to systematize the management and update process of active membership. According to the work schedule issued from the party's central office in Sanepa, various types of membership-related tasks will be completed by the upcoming June 20th.

The work schedule includes provisions for members who missed updating their active membership after May 28th to update it themselves. Similarly, the Congress has stated that tasks related to the renewal of unrenewed active memberships, distribution of new active memberships, and management of memberships that were postponed during the 14th General Convention will also be completed by June 20th.

The Congress has also decided to finalize the update and new distribution of memberships of Nepali Public Relations Committees, as well as the management of memberships of those who have merged with the party and those who have joined the party, within the same period.

According to the work schedule, the process of verifying the details of updated members will be conducted throughout June, the Congress has stated.

As part of the campaign to make the party's membership management digital and systematic after the special general convention, the Congress is moving forward with the process of updating membership through an online system. The party leadership has stated that this process is being conducted with the objective of making the active membership data transparent, reliable, and up-to-date.

Amidst the disputes seen within the party regarding membership management, the newly published work schedule is being viewed as preparation for the 15th General Convention. The Congress has emphasized making the upcoming general convention systematic and free from disputes by completing the membership management according to the prescribed procedures.
