Rastriya Swatantra Party National Convention to See Around 4000 Delegates

Chitwan. Around four thousand convention representatives are expected to participate in the first national convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

RSP leader and convention subcommittee coordinator Lima Adhikari stated that 3990 convention representatives will participate, but some representatives may still increase.

"We have information so far that around four thousand representatives will participate," said RSP Organization Department Secretary Shankar Shrestha. "The number may fluctuate. The preliminary list will be published by Sunday evening after the representatives are finalized."

RSP's first historic national convention is starting today in Chitwan. Convention Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader and Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah will jointly inaugurate it. The convention will elect a new central committee of 151 members, including 19 office bearers. Of these, only 99 central members, including one chairman, will be elected.
