Rastriya Swatantra Party Central Committee Meeting Begins Ahead of First General Convention

Chitwan. The central committee meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has begun. The meeting has started at Diyalo Foodland in Bharatpur.

This is the last central committee meeting to be held before the general convention. The first general convention of the RSP is starting from Sunday.

A leader informed that the meeting will discuss preparations for the party's first general convention, the proposal for amendment of the constitution, and contemporary organizational issues. The RSP currently has a 131-member central committee.

More than 3,000 representatives from across the country, party leaders, workers, and observers are expected to participate in the general convention, which will run for 3 days.

The opening session of the general convention is scheduled to be held at the Guest House Chaur in Bharatpur. Preparations are underway to hold the closed session at the exhibition center of the Chitwan Industry Association.
