Nepal Foreign Minister Meets CPPCC Chairman Wang Huning in China

Kathmandu. Nepal's Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and the Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wang Huning met on Tuesday morning during the Foreign Minister's visit to China.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various aspects of Nepal-China relations, informed Foreign Minister Khanal.

In the discussion, views were exchanged on development cooperation, trade, investment, tourism, political exchange, and further strengthening the relationship between the citizens of the two countries. Foreign Minister Khanal praised the Chinese side's strong commitment to further deepening the long-term friendship between Nepal and China. He stated that both sides are positive about further expanding mutual cooperation and partnership between the two countries.

Minister Khanal, who left for China on Jestha 1, held bilateral talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi yesterday. Minister Khanal will return to Nepal tomorrow.

This meeting, held in Beijing, the capital of China, is seen as an important diplomatic dialogue in the direction of further strengthening Nepal-China relations.
