Rastriya Swatantra Party Prepares for National Convention with Large Bamboo Dome

Chitwan. In preparation for the first national convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), work has begun on constructing a temporary hall (dome) that can accommodate more than seven thousand chairs.

A bamboo 'dome' is being built on the vacant land adjacent to the Hotel Star's hall in Tandi for the party's three-day convention, scheduled to be held from Asar 7 to 9 in Ratnanagar, East-Chitwan.

Work has started to create the convention venue on a 32,480 square feet plot of land, connecting it with the tin-roofed structure adjacent to the hall of Hotel Star in Ratnanagar Municipality-1.

According to RSP Central Member Rajan Gautam, the convention venue is being built to accommodate seven to eight thousand chairs. The structure will be 29 feet high in the middle and 16 feet high at the sides. A high-quality, waterproof tent dome with a tarpaulin roof will be placed, with the sides being 16 feet straight.

Leader Gautam said, "Work is underway using bamboo to build the temporary hall 'dome' required for the convention. Seventy large fans and 20 coolers will be arranged inside the dome. Preparations are being made to create seating areas outside by placing tents. The large hall of the adjacent Hotel Star will be used as needed, and construction work is progressing rapidly."

He said, "Accommodation for the convention participants will be arranged in hotels in Sauraha, Ratnanagar, and Bharatpur. We have requested hoteliers to arrange rooms at concessional rates. Arrangements are being made for participants to bear their own expenses for rooms."

Leader Gautam informed that vehicles will be parked at Tikauglichaur, which is close to the inauguration day venue, and arrangements will be made to transport participants to and from the venue using other vehicles. He also stated that food arrangements will be made at the venue from morning to evening after the inauguration session of the convention.

Clarifying that the preparations for the national convention are being carried out in coordination with the party's local district and municipal committees, central members, and members of the House of Representatives in the district, Leader Gautam said that 18 sub-committees formed to ensure the success of the convention are busy with their respective tasks.

Regarding the convention preparations, party spokesperson Manish Jha stated that preparations are being made by the local district committee and informed that the national convention secretariat will become operational from Tuesday, Asar 2, and party officials and leaders will be present at the convention venue from Asar 4.

Spokesperson Jha informed that the party has invited leaders of national political parties and representatives from neighboring countries to the inauguration ceremony and stated that approximately three thousand representatives will participate in the convention.

The RSP has announced that after the inauguration, discussions on the constitution will be held on the second day, and a new leadership will be selected, concluding the three-day convention.
