Weather Forecast: Rain Expected in Several Regions

Kathmandu. Currently, the upper atmosphere's western low-pressure line and local winds are influencing Nepal, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Due to this influence, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, along with other Himalayan and hilly regions, are experiencing general cloudiness. Terai regions have partial cloudiness. Light rain is occurring in a few places in Lumbini Province and one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki.

This afternoon, Koshi, Madhes, and Bagmati provinces, along with the country's Himalayan and hilly regions, will generally be cloudy. Other Terai regions will have partial cloudiness. There is a possibility of thunderstorms with moderate rain in a few places in Koshi and Madhes provinces, along with the country's Himalayan and hilly regions, and in one or two places in the Terai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.

Tonight, Koshi Province, along with the country's Himalayan and hilly regions, will generally be cloudy. Madhes Province, along with Terai regions, will have partial cloudiness. There is a possibility of thunderstorms with moderate rain in a few places in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, in the Terai regions of Madhes Province, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and in one or two places in the country's Himalayan regions.
