Weather Forecast: Partly Cloudy Nationwide with Chance of Rain in Several Regions

Kathmandu. Currently, the upper atmosphere's western low-pressure line and local winds are influencing Nepal, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. Due to this influence, the country is generally cloudy at present.

Today afternoon, the country will generally be cloudy. Some places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as the Terai regions of Madhesh Province and Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces will experience rain.

Additionally, there is a possibility of moderate rain with thunderstorms in one or two places in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight, the country will generally be cloudy. The Department has stated that there is a possibility of moderate rain with thunderstorms in a few places in the hilly and Terai regions of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces, as well as in some places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki provinces, and Karnali Province, and in one or two places in the mountainous regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
