Weather Forecast: Partial Influence of Western Low-Pressure Line and Local Winds

Kathmandu. Currently, the upper atmosphere of Nepal is under the partial influence of the western low-pressure line and local winds, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has informed.

Due to this influence, Koshi Province and the mountainous and hilly regions of the country will generally be cloudy this afternoon. There is a possibility of thunderstorms with moderate rain in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and in a few places in Madhesh Province and the mountainous and hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, and in one or two places in the Terai region of Sudurpashchim Province.

There is a possibility of hot days in a few places in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Tonight, the entire country will generally be cloudy. There is a possibility of thunderstorms with moderate rain in some places in the Terai regions of Madhesh Province, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, in a few places in the mountainous regions of all provinces including Karnali Province and the hilly regions of Sudurpashchim Province, and in one or two places in the Terai region of Sudurpashchim Province, the Department has informed.
