Rastriya Swatantra Party Bagmati Province Convention to be held in Hetauda

Hetauda. The National Independent Party (RSP) Bagmati Province convention is to be held in Hetauda on Tuesday. Preparations for the RSP Bagmati Province convention, to be held at Himalayan Darbar in Hetauda-1, have reached the final stage.

Representatives from 13 districts of the province will be selected and come for the convention, informed RSP Bagmati Province Chairman and Member of Parliament Dr. Achyutam Lamichhane. He said that it will be easy to convey the party's ideology, principles, and organizational message to the public level as the first provincial convention is being organized in the provincial capital Hetauda itself.

According to him, about 1,500 representatives from all 13 districts of Bagmati Province will participate. He said that representatives selected from the district, local, and ward levels of the province will participate in the convention. He said that the convention has been completed in all 13 districts of the province and representatives have started arriving in Hetauda.

According to him, out of the 1,121 wards in the province, the convention has been completed in about 900 wards, and the party's organization has been expanded in all 119 local levels. He said that the party chairman Rabi Lamichhane and the central leadership will also be present at the convention.

He said that the new provincial leadership of RSP Bagmati will be selected from the convention. He said that although efforts will be made for consensus in the selection of leadership, if necessary, the leadership will be selected through the election process.

RSP has arranged for representatives to pay a delegate fee of Rs 1,500 each. Province Chairman Dr. Lamichhane said that the convention is being prepared to be completed in a representative and economical manner, with the convention being operated with the same amount.

Although there will be no open assembly for the general public at the convention, it is estimated that about 4,000 people, including party representatives, cadres, and well-wishers, may be present.
