National Assembly Committees to Meet Simultaneously

Kathmandu. The meetings of two important committees under the National Assembly of the Federal Parliament are being held simultaneously on Monday. The meetings of two different committees of the National Assembly will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday to discuss issues of development construction and regional monitoring.

In the 333rd meeting of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee of the National Assembly, there will be a discussion with the stakeholders regarding the progress and status of the Nagdhunga-Sisnekhola tunnelway. The meeting, which will be held in the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee hall of the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singhdarbar, has a work schedule to conduct a detailed review of the Nagdhunga tunnelway in relation to the Department and the project. Branch Officer Gunamaya Sunuwar informed that the Director General of the Department of Roads and the Project Chief of the Nagdhunga Tunnelway Construction Project Office have been invited for discussion on various issues including the main discussion.

Similarly, the meeting of the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee of the National Assembly is also scheduled to be held at 11:00 AM on Monday. The agenda for this meeting, which will be held in the committee's own meeting room, is to discuss the report of the field monitoring and interaction program conducted in Karnali Province. The committee has requested the presence of all committee members and stakeholders to discuss the report prepared after the field study of Karnali Province and various other issues.
