One Arrested in Khotang for Murder by Khukuri Attack

Khotang. Police have arrested one person on the charge of murder by attacking with a khukuri in Khotang. 53-year-old Tilakbahadur Magrati of the same place has been arrested on the charge of murdering 35-year-old Dhruva Adhikari of Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality-1. Adhikari had gone to Magrati's house on the afternoon of Asar 25 to discuss a transaction. During that time, a mutual dispute arose between them. As the dispute escalated, Magrati, in a fit of rage, attacked Adhikari on the head with a khukuri. Police said that Adhikari died on the spot due to the khukuri attack. A police team immediately reached the scene after receiving information about the incident. Police have taken Magrati, involved in the murder, under control along with the khukuri used in the incident. Further investigation and necessary legal action process are underway from the District Police Office Khotang against Magrati, who was arrested on the charge of murder.
