Actor Sitaram Kattel Returns to Nepal Seeking Justice for Cricket Stadium Debt

Kathmandu. Actor Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) has said that he has returned to his home country to seek justice by presenting his pain to the government. He stated that he will discuss the issue of 18.43 million rupees debt in the construction of the Bharatpur Cricket Stadium with the Nepal government.

“I have no plans to return to America right now. I will also discuss the stadium issue with the central government, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, and others,” Kattel told RatoPati. “All my construction friends who are there. They will surely get justice now.” Kattel, who complained that he did not get justice on this issue even after going to Singha Durbar for five years in the past, said that he is hopeful of getting justice as a new government has come to power in the country.

“Whatever I did was for the nation's benefit. Whether it is for the nation's benefit or not. It should be looked into properly,” Kattel added. “All the work that has been done has been transparent and within budget and excellent.” He believes that various bodies of the government have already investigated this matter. “The current Prime Minister is an artist. I will meet him and present all the details,” he said.

Recalling that he has done a lot of selfless work for the stadium and the country, Kattel clarified that he has no plans to stay in America.

“Whatever I am now is given by this country and artistry. Therefore, I cannot give up on it,” he added. Kattel, who said that all the news that has come out about him being connected to America is misleading, clarified that going to America was for his daughter's treatment and no other reason.
