32 Applications Received for Electricity Regulatory Commission Chairperson and Member Positions

Kathmandu. The details of the candidates who applied for the vacant chairperson and member positions of the Electricity Regulatory Commission, the regulatory body of the energy sector, have been made public. According to the list published by the recommendation committee for the appointment of the commission's chairperson and members, a total of 32 applications have been received for the new leadership.

According to the details received, 10 people have applied for the position of commission chairperson and 22 people have applied for the position of member. It is seen in the documents that Narayan Prasad Sapkota and Dr. Shantikala Subedi have applied for both the chairperson and member positions.

The committee had published a notice on Jestha 7, 2083, and called for applications until Jestha 21. The committee has published the list of applications received within the said deadline.
