Nepal Student Union Protests, Demands PM Balen Shah's Resignation

Kathmandu. Strongly protesting the statement made in the Federal Parliament regarding the border dispute, the Nepal Student Union (NEBISANGH) has demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Balen Shah. 

Students affiliated with NEBISANGH, gathered at the Trichandra Campus premises in the capital, protested by chanting slogans against Prime Minister Shah.

They expressed anger, stating that the Prime Minister made an irresponsible statement on a highly sensitive issue like the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Students participating in the protest condemned Prime Minister Shah's statement and demanded his immediate resignation from the post.

In the protest that started from Trichandra Campus, students carried placards with various slogans against the government and the Prime Minister. The protesting students claimed that such a casual remark from the head of government on a serious national issue like the border has hurt the sentiments of the general Nepali citizens.
