Girl Dies from Snakebite in Kapilvastu

Butwal. A young woman has died from a snakebite in Kapilvastu. Riya Barma, 16, of Maltol in Kapilvastu Municipality-1 of the district, died from a bite by a venomous cobra. The poisonous snake bit her at home at midnight on Wednesday. She was immediately taken to Kapilvastu Hospital for treatment. The District Police Office, Kapilvastu, stated that she died while being taken to the snakebite treatment center Gorusinge for further treatment as treatment was not possible there. She had passed the SEE from Tauleshwarnath Sanskrit Secondary School in Kapilvastu.
