Father-Son Die in Tipper-Motorcycle Collision in Dang

Dang. A father and son have died in a collision between a tipper and a motorcycle in Gulm Chowk of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-5, Dang. The lives of two people riding the motorcycle were lost when the motorcycle numbered Ra.4 Pa.3390 and the tipper numbered Ra.1 Kha.2192 collided with each other.

The deceased in the accident are Manojkumar Nepali, 35, residing in Lamahi Municipality-5, Dang, who was driving the motorcycle, and his 5-year-old son Mirant Nepali. The father and son, who were seriously injured in the tipper's collision, died during treatment.

Anusha Pariyar, 34, who was riding pillion on the motorcycle, sustained minor injuries in the same accident. She was treated at a local hospital and has been discharged after her condition stabilized.

Police have taken into custody the tipper involved in the accident and its driver, Sher Bahadur Thapa, 39, residing in Shantinagar Rural Municipality-3, Dang. Police are conducting further necessary investigations into the incident, estimating that the accident may have occurred due to excessive speed.
