Gold Price Rises Sharply in Nepali Market

Kathmandu. The price of gold has increased sharply in the Nepali market today. According to the details released by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of bullion gold has increased by 20,500 rupees today.  

The impact of the government increasing the customs duty on gold by 10 percent for the upcoming fiscal year has been seen in the market.  
According to the Federation, the price of bullion gold has been fixed at 311,100 rupees per tola today. Earlier, on Jestha 15, gold was traded at 290,600 rupees per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has been fixed at 266,720 rupees, which was 249,140 rupees two days ago.

Along with gold, the price of silver has also increased. Today, silver has reached 5,345 rupees per tola. On Jestha 15, silver was traded at 5,040 rupees per tola. Today, the price of 10 grams of silver has been set at 4,583 rupees.
