Government Decides to Retain Previously Increased Allowances

Kathmandu. The government has decided to keep the allowances, which were increased twice before, as they are. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle stated that the allowance increased once by 5 thousand and the allowance increased before that by 2 thousand will be retained.

In the budget speech for the fiscal year 2083/84, it was stated that the salary of lower-level employees will reach above 40 thousand and the salary of upper-level employees will reach above 1 lakh. He announced a 10 percent increase in employee salaries.
