Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment Receives NPR 61.23 Billion Budget

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment has received a budget of NPR 61.23 billion. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle announced this through the budget statement for the fiscal year 2083/84 in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Friday. Of this, NPR 46.93 billion has been allocated to agriculture and NPR 12.21 billion to forest and environment. The former Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and the Ministry of Forest and Environment have been merged into this ministry. Gita Chaudhary is handling this ministry.
