Ministry of Education and Sports Receives NPR 222 Billion Budget

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Education and Sports has received a budget of NPR 222 billion. On Friday, through the budget statement for the fiscal year 2083/84 in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle made such an allocation. Of this, NPR 218.30 billion has been allocated to the education ministry sector and NPR 4.03 billion to the sports sector. The former Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Sports have been merged into this ministry. Sasmita Pokharel is leading the ministry.
