Engineer Deepak Kumar Sah Wins Sunsari Constituency 4 Seat

Kathmandu. Engineer Deepak Kumar Sah, Member of Parliament from Sunsari Constituency No. 4, never wanted to come to the forefront of politics. He always worked from behind. This time, he contested the election from Sunsari's Constituency No. 4 from the Rastriya Swatantra Party and won with a huge mandate.

Sah received 42,771 votes, while his closest rival, Nepali Congress candidate Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, received 16,587 votes. Sah won by a margin of 26,184 votes.

As an engineer, Sah worked in the hydropower sector. He says he will now work with more responsibility in his role as a Member of Parliament.

MP Sah has a clear belief that for the country to develop, there must first be income. He stated that old projects, old political parties, and old policies and regulations have caused delays in the construction of various projects.

'What I have understood for 14 years is that to bring change in the country, there must be the right policy. It is with that desire to bring change that I became a Member of Parliament,' Sah said, 'This also turned out to be a coincidence.' He did not make any public commitments before the election. He plans to adopt the manifesto of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, as it has already been released. The agenda was to remove irregularities and end corruption to build the country.

Sah says he has tried to integrate and solve the problems of the country and his constituency. He stated that his attention is focused on issues that play with human lives.

He said that he is trying to take initiatives to prevent human damage caused by the Koshi Wildlife Reserve, solve the problems of those affected by the Sunsari River, and address the irrigation and fertilizer problems faced by farmers.

'But all these initiatives are only possible when the country's treasury is full,' Sah said. Being on the Infrastructure Development Committee of the Federal Parliament, he said, 'Currently, the country's treasury is empty; first, we need to fill the country's treasury.'

Sah said that he will work on creating necessary policies for economic development in the country. He expressed his gratitude to the public for giving him a huge mandate. He said he is equally concerned about the joys and sorrows of the public. He stated that he will always try to solve the problems of the public.
