Government Prepares to Re-operate Historic Hetauda Textile Industry

Kathmandu. The government has intensified preparations to bring the historic Hetauda Textile Industry, which has been closed for a long time, back into operation. 

In this regard, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gauri Kumari Yadav, has conducted an on-site inspection of the Hetauda Industrial Estate, the secretariat of Minister Yadav informed. 

During the inspection, Minister Yadav took detailed information about the current condition of the industry, the status of the machinery, and the possibilities of re-operation.  

On the occasion, discussions were also held with stakeholders on how the process of operating the industry can be expedited, the secretariat of Minister Yadav informed.
