Army Chief Meets Retired Generals

Kathmandu. A program of interaction and meeting with retired generals at Jangi Adda has been completed.

In the interaction held on Friday, discussions were held on the responsibilities and important tasks undertaken by the Nepali Army since its establishment, as well as welfare activities and contemporary issues related to national security, the Nepali Army informed.

On the occasion, Chief of Army Staff Ashokraj Sigdel expressed high respect for the invaluable contribution of the senior leadership dedicated to the nation and the institution for the timely modernization and capacity development of the Nepali Army, stating that continuous inspiration has been received.

The Nepali Army has informed through a press release that it is believed that such programs will help maintain continuous relations between serving and retired soldiers, and that the opinions and suggestions received will be helpful in embracing national responsibility and protecting national interests as a whole.
