MP Manju Bhusal Urges End to Construction Delays and Excuses

Kathmandu. Member of Parliament Manju Bhusal has stated that the tendency of construction entrepreneurs to delay work and make excuses must end. Speaking at a meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee, she urged that the works be completed on time as the deadline for many projects ends in Ashadh.

"There are many projects whose deadline ends in Ashadh, this is a big challenge," she said. She stated that now that the minister has already made a commitment, entrepreneurs should start working without making excuses. 

She mentioned that both entrepreneurs and the government must be equally responsible for completing thousands of projects across the country. Stating that a trend of making excuses in the construction sector has set in, she said that it should be stopped.
