Speaker Advances 3 Bills Amidst Opposition Protest

Kathmandu. Speaker Dolprasad Aryal has advanced 3 bills amidst opposition protest. He advanced 3 bills amidst sloganeering at the rostrum of CPN UML and Nepali Communist Party and protest from the standing position of the main opposition party Nepali Congress.

Speaker Aryal advanced the 'House of Representatives Election (First Amendment) Bill, 2083', 'Voter List (First Amendment) Bill, 2083', and 'National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081'.

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister and Home Minister, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Balendra Shah, presented the proposal 'Consider the House of Representatives Election (First Amendment) Bill', 'Voter List (First Amendment) Bill, 2083', and 'National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081'.

The proposal to consider was approved with the support of the ruling party amidst the opposition's sloganeering and protest. Amendments have also been called for the approved bills.
