CPN UML Declines Donation for Office Building

Kathmandu. CPN UML has decided not to accept the office building that Bhatbhateni owner and businessman Min Bahadur Gurung had offered to build with a donation. CPN UML has decided to return Gurung's proposal to donate land and build the building with thanks.

In the proposal presented by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the secretariat meeting, it is mentioned that Gurung's proposal to donate the building will be withdrawn and an office will be built in Balkhu itself.

'The donor (Min Bahadur Gurung couple) who proposed to build the building in Kalanki will be thanked and their proposal will be returned, and a new office building will now be constructed in Madannagar, Balkhu,' reads the UML proposal.

Previously, some leaders within UML had protested against accepting the party office as a donation. Due to the protest, UML had even taken action against leaders Binda Pandey and Ushakiran Timilsena.
