Parliament Meeting Adjourned for 15 Minutes Due to Opposition Obstruction

Kathmandu. The House of Representatives meeting has been adjourned for 15 minutes. Speaker DP Aryal adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes after the opposition parties obstructed the proceedings demanding a question-and-answer session with the Prime Minister.

Opposition parties have stated that the parliament cannot proceed without the implementation of the question-and-answer program with the Prime Minister.

Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting held on Thursday, CPN-UML Chief Whip Ain Mahal and others stated that the House of Representatives meeting cannot proceed until the question-and-answer program with the Prime Minister, in accordance with Rule 56 of the House of Representatives Regulations 2079, is held.
