MP Indira Rana Magar Demands Government Revoke National Child Rights Council Dissolution

Kathmandu. Ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Indira Rana Magar has demanded that the government immediately withdraw the decision to dissolve the National Child Rights Council. She made this demand while speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday.

Stating that she heard the previous government made such a decision, MP Rana said that the government needs to reconsider it. She also expressed anger, saying that the government dissolved the council without making alternative arrangements for the rights, welfare, and protection of children.

MP Rana also clarified that the government should take necessary steps by considering the issue of child protection as a serious matter.
