17 Projects Worth NPR 12 Crore Implemented in Gandaki Province

Myagdi. Through the Irrigation and Water Resources Management Project Office Pokhara, 17 projects worth approximately NPR 12 crore have been implemented in Myagdi, Mustang, and Parbat in the current fiscal year 2082/83.

The project office has stated that contracts have been signed with various companies for the construction of three projects in Parbat, four in Myagdi, and 10 in Mustang for NPR 11 crore 93 lakh 73 thousand 743.

Engineer Narjang Gurung of the projects informed that the goal is to complete all 17 projects, for which contracts were signed in the months of Magh, Falgun, and Chaitra of 2082 BS, within the current fiscal year.

"All the construction entrepreneurs for the contracted projects have been mobilized in the work areas," he said, "All projects with contracts expiring on June 19 are being actively constructed."

In Myagdi, a contract has been signed for the landslide control project in Dagnam of रघुगङ्गा गाउँपालिका-4 for NPR 2 crore 25 lakh 69 thousand 929, and for the ManglaGhat settlement protection project in Beni Municipality-7 for NPR 99 lakh 19 thousand 295.

Contracts have been signed for the Ghattikhola protection project in Annapurna Rural Municipality-3 Dana for NPR 87 lakh 44 thousand 982 and for the Gharap settlement protection project in Annapurna-4 for NPR 1 crore 9 lakh 16 thousand 760.

The project office stated that contracts have been signed for the settlement protection project in Kagbeni of Waragung Muktikshetra-4, Mustang for NPR 1 crore 91 lakh 43 thousand 699, for Larjung Khola protection in Thasang Rural Municipality-2 for NPR 78 lakh 44 thousand 982, for Lupra village protection for NPR 26 lakh 82 thousand 45, and for Tirigaun apple orchard protection for NPR 25 lakh 97 thousand 103. Irrigation projects in Marpha of Gharpa Municipality, Phalyeak, Jhong, Dhakarjung, Jhong-Phalyeak, Chusang, and Jharikot of Waragung Muktikshetra in Mustang have been implemented through the office.

In Parbat, contracts have been signed for the construction of a multipurpose pond in Lamai Khola of Phalebas Municipality-3 for NPR 32 lakh 35 thousand 939, for the Upallo Bita Majhi Khola irrigation project in Kushma Municipality-10 for NPR 15 lakh 52 thousand 575, and for the Lundikhola protection project in Milan Chok of Jaljala Rural Municipality-7 for NPR 91 lakh 78 thousand 920.
