Parliamentarians Raise Issue of Nigerian Woman Allegedly Impregnated by Ruling Party MP

Kathmandu. The issue of a foreign woman being made pregnant and abandoned has been raised in the House of Representatives meeting. In the ongoing meeting of the House of Representatives, Nepali Congress MP Ninukumari Karna and Communist Party of Nepal MP Parvati BK raised the issue of a Nigerian woman being impregnated by a Member of Parliament from the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

MP Krishnakumar Karki, elected from Morang-2, stated that the issue of the woman being trapped in a love affair, impregnated, abandoned, and fled has gone viral on social media.

Raising the issue in the parliament, MP BK urged the parliament to clarify what the incident allegedly involving a ruling party MP is. 'The issue of a ruling party MP impregnating a foreign woman and abandoning her is viral on social media. The parliament wants to know the factual incident,' said MP BK.

Similarly, MP Karna stated that the foreign woman was trapped in a love affair and emotionally blackmailed. She questioned how an MP who does not spare foreign women can respect the women of his own country. She urged the parliament to provide the facts as soon as possible.
