Rastriya Swatantra Party General Secretary Kabindra BurlaKoti states PM will not respond to opposition demands

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) General Secretary Kabindra BurlaKoti has clarified that the Prime Minister will not respond as demanded by the opposition parties in the parliament.

While responding to questions from journalists after an all-party meeting held at Singha Durbar on Monday, he clarified that the Prime Minister would not respond as the dispute related to Nepal-India border falls under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “The Speaker urged the opposition leaders to end the obstruction of the parliament. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has clarified on behalf of the government. It can also be presented in the house if necessary,” BurlaKoti said, “The issue of removing the obstruction of the parliament has moved forward a lot. The Prime Minister has various line ministries under him. When the concerned minister speaks representing the entire government, it is the response of the Prime Minister, the government, and the party leading the government.”

He stated that Speaker Rabi Lamichhane specifically provided information about the India visit in the meeting. He tried to answer the questions raised in the meeting.
