Project Chief Tejaswi Sharma of the Beni-Jomsom-Korala road project informed that a ministerial level decision has been made for the construction of multi-year bridges on the Korala road.

According to the project, source approval has been received for the construction of concrete bridges at the location of the Bailey bridges at Kaligandaki river in Beni connecting Parbat-Myagdi, in Rupshe waterfall in Annapurna rural municipality-3 of Myagdi, Sun Khola and Gatte Khola in Thasang-2, and Thapa Khola in Thasang rural municipality-Tukuche, under the Korala road.

Project Chief Sharma mentioned that all five bridges will be put into tender process within a month. The project has stated that 15 concrete bridges have been completed so far under the North/South connecting Korala road project.

It has been stated that the bridge under construction at Ghami Khola in Upper Mustang under the Korala road is in its final stage and is expected to be completed within the current fiscal year.
