Government Criminalizes Employee Political Affiliation

Kathmandu. The government has decided to consider the political affiliation of employees as a criminal offense. President Ram Chandra Paudel announced this while presenting the government's policy and program in both houses of the Federal Parliament. If an employee is found to be affiliated with a political party, a policy has been adopted to dismiss them from government service in the future, making them ineligible. Currently, only individuals proven in criminal offenses are declared ineligible for future government service.
