Actor Vijay Baral and Actress Swastima Khadka Win Best Actor Awards at 17th D Cine Award

Kathmandu. Actor Vijay Baral and actress Swastima Khadka have become best actor and actress. These artists received the best award at the 17th edition of the D Cine Award organized by Chhayachhobi Creation on Thursday evening.

Film Development Board Chairman Dinesh DC, senior actress Vasundhara Bhusal, Chaitradevi Singh and others presented the awards to them. In the program, director Gyanendra Deuja and actress Niruta Singh were honored with the 'ChalachitraKermi Rajat Samman 2083'.

In the program, color journalist Sachit Khadka was awarded the Rekha Films Chhayachhobi Film Journalism Award. Various artists were also honored in the program. Among those honored were comedian Gopal Dhakal 'Chhande', actress Tejula Khatiwada, artist Geeta Nepal, singer Mina Nepali.

In the award where jury members journalist Numakant Poudel, director Amar Wali and director Kamal Ekchai Magar were present, awards were distributed in various categories to films released in 2081.

In the program, the Best Actor and Actress awards were given to Vijay Baral for 'Purnabahadurko Sarangi' and Swastima Khadka for 'Behuli From Meghouli'. On the same occasion, Anjila was awarded Best Film and Milan Chams was awarded Best Director from Anjila.
