Youth Dies After Stabbing in Dharan

Sunsari. A youth has died from a sharp knife attack in Dharan. The District Police Office Sunsari has stated that 28-year-old Jeevan Bhujel of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-10 died when a knife attack occurred during a minor dispute among local youths in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-19 on Sunday.

Bhujel, who was seriously injured, was taken to BP Koirala Health Sciences Institute in Dharan for treatment. As treatment was not possible there, he was taken to Virat Nursing Home in Biratnagar, where Bhujel died during treatment this afternoon, informed District Police Office Chief Keshav Kumar Thebe. The police have stated that Arjun Bishwakarma of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-19, who stabbed him in the incident, is absconding and a search operation has been intensified, while further investigation into the incident is underway.
