Godawari Municipality Mayor's Scorpio Vehicle Met with Accident in Kailali

Dhangadhi. The Scorpio vehicle of Godawari Municipality Mayor Birendra Bhatta met with an accident on Saturday night in Rajpur, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-13, under the Attariya 6-lane road of Kailali.

The accident occurred when the vehicle, which the mayor himself was driving, hit the railing on the side of the road. The front part of the government vehicle with number Sudurpaschim Province 01-001 Jha 601 sustained minor damage, the Provincial Traffic Police Office Attariya informed.

The police stated that the vehicle was taken under control and kept at the Kailali Gaun Chowki after it was found that the mayor was driving under the influence of alcohol.
