Nepal Communist Party Central Committee Meeting Convenes to Finalize Leadership and Responsibilities

Kathmandu. The central coordination committee meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been held at the central office in Parisdanda. Leader Prakash Jwala informed that the agenda is to approve the special proposal prepared by coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal.

According to Jwala, today's meeting is likely to make concrete decisions on the division of work among leaders, departmental responsibilities, and the completion of the secretariat and central working committee. Prachanda had called the meeting on Chaitra 19 (Nepali date) to review the elections after the party suffered an unexpected defeat in the elections held last Falgun (Nepali month).

The meeting, which was postponed several times, was adjourned on Chaitra 3 (Nepali date) after the coordinator and co-coordinator responded to the questions raised by the members on Baishakh 3 (Nepali date).
