Nepal collects over 60 billion rupees in revenue from petroleum imports

Parsa. In the first nine months of the current fiscal year, 60.38 billion rupees in revenue has been collected from the import of petroleum products. During the same period of the previous fiscal year, 57.53 billion rupees in revenue was received.

According to Uday Singh Bista, Information Officer at the Birgunj Customs Office, this amount was deposited into the state treasury through the import of five types of petroleum products worth 148.16 billion rupees via the Birgunj border point during that period.

During this period, 808,745 kiloliters of diesel, 359,846 kiloliters of petrol, and 224,875,266 kilograms of LP gas were imported.
