Rekha Thapa's 'Maya Bhanekai Yasto Hola' Set for Bhadra 26 Release

Kathmandu. The film 'Maya Bhanekai Yasto Hola', directed by actress Rekha Thapa, is set to be released on Bhadra 26. Distributor Karan Shrestha stated that the release date was finalized following a mutual agreement between the production team and distributors. He added, 'The film will be released on the special occasion of Teej, coinciding with Kushe Aunsi (Father's Day).'

The film's distribution is being handled by Rich Entertainment, Apple Entertainment, and FD Company. With this project, Rekha makes her directorial comeback after 8 years. This is her third directorial venture, following successful films like 'Himmatwali' and 'Malika'.

The film features Madan Krishna Shrestha and Dil Shrestha in lead roles, alongside former Miss Nepals Shristi Shrestha, Namrata Shrestha, and former Miss Nepal International Niti Shah. Former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi also appears in a special role.

Produced under the banner of 'Diya and Amu Films', the movie also stars Laxmi Giri, Bishal Pahadi, Sangam Bhandari, Ravi Dangol, Sunita Shrestha, and Binod Poudel. The film is produced by Hari Narayan Shrestha and Maya Devi Shrestha. The screenplay is written by Dhurba Lamsal, and the cinematography is by Sudeep Baral.
