Lumbini Provincial Assembly to convene 14th meeting today

Kathmandu. The 14th meeting of the seventh session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly is scheduled to be held today at 1:00 PM.

According to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, the agenda includes a special session where members of the Provincial Assembly will express their views on contemporary issues.

During the meeting, Bishwaprem Pathak, Chairman of the Agriculture, Forest and Environment Committee, is scheduled to present the committee's report on the 'Bill to manage and regulate provincial pesticides'.

Similarly, Minister for Social Development Janmajay Timilsina will present a proposal for discussion and passage of the 'Bill including the report on the rights of Dalits'.

Furthermore, the Provincial Assembly Secretariat stated that the agenda includes the presentation of the annual report of the Physical Infrastructure and Development Committee by its Chairman, Ramji Prasad Ghimire.
