Industry Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav Discloses Extensive Assets

Kathmandu. The asset details of Industry Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav were made public today. According to the disclosure, she possesses vast land holdings in Kathmandu and Mahottari, 180 tolas of gold, multi-million rupee investments, and significant bank balances.

According to the details released by the Prime Minister's Office on Sunday, Minister Yadav owns a three-story house on 1 ropani, 1 ana, and 2 dam of land in Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 9. Additionally, she holds 14 ana of land in Kathmandu-10, along with two other plots measuring 7 ana, 1 paisa, 2 dam and 9 ana, 1 paisa, 3 dam respectively in the same ward.

In Mahottari district, she reported owning 14 kattha in Bardibas Municipality, another 15 kattha in Bardibas, and 6.5 bigha of land across two other locations in the same area. Furthermore, the records show she owns 1 kattha in Samsi, Mahottari, and a pond in Manara Siswa Municipality.

Minister Yadav also declared 180 tolas of gold, two kilograms of silver, and two sets of diamond jewelry, which she claims were purchased 30 years ago.

Her financial holdings include 400,000 rupees in Siddhartha Bank, 100,000 rupees in Laxmi Sunrise Bank, 200,000 rupees in Global IME Bank, 150,000 rupees in CVIC, and 150,000 rupees in Manmohan Health Cooperative. Additionally, her disclosure mentions investments worth 33.8 million rupees in various companies.

Beyond assets, Minister Yadav also disclosed liabilities. She noted a loan of 16 million rupees under the name of Shivaji Yadav. Furthermore, the records show an auto loan of 187,000 rupees and a car valued at 5.7 million rupees under the name of Kartik Yadav. In addition, she revealed that she has leased 332 kitta of land to Big Mart, from which she receives a monthly rent of 90,000 rupees.

Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav assumed the role of Industry Minister following the dismissal of Deepak Sah. She is an elected Member of Parliament from Mahottari-4.
