Nepali Congress leader Rajendra Bajgain announces departure from party

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader Rajendra Bajgain has announced his departure from the party. 

Bajgain announced his resignation on the social media platform X. He wrote, "Ultimately, I could not remain in Congress." Leader Bajgain also expressed regret over the decision to reinstate the membership of Kishunji. 

He stated that there was no justification for the decision to reinstate the membership. He further alleged that the Congress has become a party of a crowd of people suffering from a distracted mentality.

Bajgain described the leaders of the Congress as a crowd of people whose culture, history, and path of progress have been lost in uncertainty.
