Dhurandhar: The Revenge Shatters Box Office Records with 16.8 Billion INR Global Gross

Mumbai. The film Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2), directed by Aditya Dhar, has created a tsunami at the box office. Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, the film's worldwide gross collection has reached 1680 crore INR.

In India alone, the film has made history by crossing the 1080 crore INR net collection mark. Setting records from its very first week, the film earned 690 crore INR in its first 8 days. Due to immense audience demand, the film successfully grossed 271 crore INR in its second week and 120 crore INR in its third week.

The film's earnings have remained stable not only on holidays but also on working days. From Monday to Thursday, the film has been collecting an average of 10 crore INR daily.

The film is performing exceptionally well not just in India but also internationally. It has grossed 404 crore INR from the overseas market so far. With this, it has become one of the most successful global films in the history of Indian cinema.

Furthermore, Dhurandhar 2 has been included in the list of the top 10 highest-grossing films worldwide in 2026. According to a Box Office Mojo report, this Ranveer Singh starrer has secured its place in an elite list alongside major global films like Project Hail Mary, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and Wuthering Heights. The film achieved this success by surpassing the Chinese animated movie Boonie Bears: The Hidden Protector (139 million USD).

In terms of earnings, Dhurandhar 2 has outperformed several films featuring major Hollywood stars. Chris Hemsworth's film Crime 101 earned 72 million USD after its release, which is significantly lower than Dhurandhar. Similarly, it has surpassed Rachel McAdams' Send Help (94 million USD) and Riz Ahmed's Hamlet (78 million USD). The Drama, starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, earned only 26 million USD, whereas Dhurandhar 2 raked in 80 million USD in its opening weekend alone.

It broke the lifetime overseas collection record of its predecessor, Dhurandhar, in just 10 days. It has become the fastest film to reach 1000 crore (worldwide). Additionally, it holds the record for achieving all milestones from 100 crore to 1000 crore in India in the shortest amount of time.
