Singer Bidhan Shrestha to Perform at Nepalaya's 'R'shala

Kathmandu. Singer Bidhan Shrestha will be performing this time in the musical program organized at Nepalaya's 'R'shala on the last weekend of the English month. Bidhan had also performed on this stage 9 years ago.<

Singer Bidhan is rehearsing with the Paleti musicians for the Paleti program to be held at Nepalaya's 'R' Shala in Kalikasthan. Bidhan Shrestha is a singer known for folk and patriotic songs. Shrestha is a singer who grew up in a musical family. He developed his musical personality under the guidance of his father, Vijay Shrestha, a famous musician and lyricist from Sunsari. Vijay Shrestha has also composed songs for famous singer Deep Shrestha.<

There are many popular songs sung by Bidhan such as 'Machhi Marna Jaun Danje Kalapani Ma', 'Buhari Jharjhai Lajalu...', 'Aaja Nachchhe Meri Gauri...', 'Kanchhi Ko Allare Joban...'.<

Singer Shrestha said that he is very happy to be able to sing again on the Paleti stage after nine years.<

'Many senior artists whom I respect have already made this stage glorious. Therefore, this stage is like a musical temple for me,' Bidhan says, 'I hope this program will give further height to my nearly three-decade-long musical journey.'<

Bidhan's songs have a unique identity of originality. Paleti's coordinator, musician Abhas, says that it is enjoyable to invite Bidhan again to Paleti.<

Paleti is a short and distinctive musical series organized by Nepalaya, where singers, musicians, and composers perform in close proximity to the audience. Paleti has been organized for 21 years with the aim of reviving Nepali modern music and reducing the distance between artists and audience.<

This time's Paleti will be held on the weekend of June, i.e., on Friday and Saturday, the 26th and 27th, in the evening at Nepalaya's 'R' Shala in Kalikasthan.<
