Gold and Silver Prices Decline in Local Market

Kathmandu. The price of gold and silver has decreased in the local market today. Gold has dropped by Rs 4,300 per tola, while silver has fallen by Rs 150 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold is set at Rs 294,700 per tola, and the same quantity of silver is priced at Rs 4,875 today.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the price of fine gold was set at Rs 299,000 per tola, and the same quantity of silver was priced at Rs 5,025.

Last Tuesday, the price of fine gold was set at Rs 291,800 per tola, and the same quantity of silver was priced at Rs 4,820. According to international media, gold is trading at 4,713 per ounce and silver at 73 US dollars per ounce in the international market today.
